AGAINST THE WIND (REMIXES) / MORITZ GUHLING
After Guhlings debut-longplayer „Prophet“ in December, kunsthandwerk now kicks off a remix EP.
With his interpretation of „Against The Wind“, whizzkid Kevin Over delivered a rough piece of music with a very special and unconventional drumming.
The Italy based Charles Blossfeldt proceeds with calm but spheric cuts of the main melodic parts and creates a beautiful monotony.
Leonard Bywas reinterpretation of Hunter subsists of a very dominant snare-drum in combination with organic strings and melodic structures taken up from the original.
On the contrary, kunsthandwerk secret weapon „Sandro Golia“ from Germanys ex capitol Bonn bribes with an entirely new atmosphere unlike the original.
A pretty distinct sound aesthetic completes the four track bundle, which experiences a versatile array of sounds in focus on the two originals „Against The Wind“ and „Hunter“.
